As part of Informa Markets, committed to contributing to the achievement of the goals defined by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Agrishow implements a series of initiatives that aim to act consistently on the following fronts:
Separating the more than 50 tons of recyclable waste generated during the event from non-recyclable waste, which are reused based on the joint action with the Mãos Dadas cooperative, and contribute to income generation for families in the Ribeirão Preto region.
Photovoltaic panels in the Agrishow bathrooms, providing clean and 100% renewable energy for the operation of these structures. In addition, we will also have cell phone charging kiosks available to our visitors, 100% supplied with solar energy.
Award-winning project by Agrishow, which has existed since 2021 and aims to value women's work in Brazilian agribusiness and increasingly encourage their participation in this market.
IMPORTANT:
Agrishow repudiates any type of discrimination, as well as selection conduct for purely aesthetic reasons. We strongly encourage our exhibitors to celebrate diversity in every way when hiring professionals to work at the fair.
There are more than 200 tons of waste of this typefrom the booths and structures of the event, which are destined to the generationenergy, landscaping and other initiatives, avoiding its disposal in the environmentenvironment.
Aiming to encourage entrepreneurship and the emergence of new companies that can contribute to the sustainable development of Brazilian agribusiness, Agrishow Labs unites startups from the agro market with rural producers who visit the fair in search of solutions for their production.
We have a team that works all night, after each day of the event, inspecting all structures and instructing our exhibitors to turn off items such as lights, air conditioning and other devices that may be consuming energy unnecessarily during periods of inactivity at the fair.
There will be distribution of seedlings of native species (Copaíba, Uvaia and Guava) at the Macboot stand, located on the A22.
To encourage and value small producers, in partnership with the Secretary of Agriculture and Supply of the State of SP, the Pavilhão de Produtores Artesanais values family farming by giving space to small artisanal producers, who sell products such as cheese, cachaça, honey at the fair and charcuterie, among others.
In partnership with MatchFood and the El Dorado group, we worked on donating lunchboxes to 4 social institutions in the Ribeirão Preto region: Instituto Simply Amor, Associação Missão Filhos Pródigos, City Só Escolha and Grupo Ação Solidária RP.
n partnership with the Municipality of Ribeirão Preto and Transerp, biofuel-powered bus lines were made available so that the visiting public, exhibitors and other workers could access the event by means of public transport. Free shuttle services to and from the fair were also available in alternative parking spaces throughout the city. All aimed at making traffic flow more smoothly and reducing CO² emissions into the atmosphere.
Agrishow provided a completely free space to the GACC – Support Group for Children with Cancer in Ribeirão Preto – aiming to publicize its incredible work in the area of childhood oncology and encourage the collection of donations within the event. Learn more at http://www.gaccribeiraopreto.com.br/
Aiming to better receive different public profiles, Agrishow works on initiatives such as a comfort room for lactating mothers and their babies, transport through the interior of the fair via electric carts for people with mobility difficulties, a resting point and reception for caravan drivers and points hydration stations throughout the fair + distribution of free water in the visitors' parking lot and in the Agrishow Pra Elas.
Agrishow dedicates three entire food courts to small entrepreneurs in the Ribeirão Preto region, making room for their food trucks to be present and serve the public at the fair.
Agrishow is also engaged in opening job opportunities for the most varied profiles. That's why we make a point of hiring professionals over 50 and over 60 to work at the event.
Agrishow Experience has been bringing a lot of relevant content about sustainability in agribusiness. In 2022, there was four monthly special editions of different crops: grains and coffee, livestock, sugarcane, and citrus and hortifruti.

What did well in my farming
Women have occupied an increasing space in the most different ways of acting in the agro: whether in the management of properties, in the day to day of the farm or as leaders who are promoting important transformations. That's why we created Agrishow Pra Elas: a series of super pleasant chats between amazing women who work in the agro, aiming to value and encourage women's performance in the sector.
The project was also present at the 2022 physical fair, and today continues with inspiring monthly conversations, on Agrishow's YouTube, always bringing great women and their contributions to Brazilian agribusiness.
With the aim of promoting the inclusion of women in entrepreneurship and in the job market, Agrishow supported a social action carried out by Casa das Mangueiras, a non-profit institution in Ribeirão Preto – SP that serves people in situations of social vulnerability. is aimed at an eyebrow design course, offered by the institution in partnership with Senac and Sebrae.
Agrishow provided complete kits of products and materials so that course participants could start working as soon as they graduated. The kit consists of tweezers, brushes, brushes, henna for eyebrows, among other items.
