Agrishow, the largest agricultural technology fair in Latin America, recognizes the importance of sustainability in its initiatives. For us, sustainability represents a commitment to both the present and the future, demonstrating our responsibility to promote an environmentally conscious, socially equitable, and economically viable world.

In agribusiness, which encompasses a broad scope of actors and activities crucial to the Brazilian economy and the future of upcoming generations, we face significant challenges regarding sustainability, including the increasingly large-scale production of food and other inputs with environmental balance and social development. We see these challenges as opportunities to unite the agricultural community in search of efficient solutions and a more resilient sector with more sustainable practices.

Agrishow aims to be a platform for discussing and developing the present and the future, strengthening a transformative movement in the industry, collectively building a sustainable scenario.

Meal Donations (MATCHFOOD)

In partnership with Matchfood and Talk Produções, we will work on the donation of lunch boxes to institutions in the region of Ribeirão Preto.

AGRISHOW PRA ELAS (for women)

AWARD-WINNING PROJECT that has been around since 2021. Agrishow Pra Elas is an exclusive space with pleasant conversations and exchanges of experience among incredible women working in agriculture, aiming to value and stimulate women's participation in the sector. As a networking space with women from all over Brazil, in 2025 we will have a hands-on area dedicated to technical speeches from women to women..

Photovoltaic panels in the bathrooms of Agrishow provide clean, 100% renewable energy for the operation of these structures.

Energy Patrol

We have a team that works throughout the night after each day of the event, inspecting all structures and instructing our exhibitors to turn off items such as lights, air conditioning, and other devices that may be consuming unnecessary energy during periods of inactivity at the fair.

AGRISHOW LABS

A fully dedicated area within the Technology and Innovation Arena that connects various agribusiness startups and their solutions directly with the visiting public, providing a perfect space for making business deals and networking.

Recycling Action

More than 200 tons of this type of waste from the stands and structures of the event are destined for energy generation, landscaping, and other initiatives, avoiding their disposal in the environment.

2- ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Becoming carbon neutral, halving our waste, and helping our customers reduce their carbon footprint, as a springboard to achieving zero waste and net zero carbon by 2030 or earlier.

  • Recycling Action: Separating recyclables from non-recyclable waste, more than 50 tons of recyclables generated during the event are reused through joint efforts with the Mãos Dadas cooperative, contributing to income generation for families in the Ribeirão Preto region.

  • Solar Energy: Photovoltaic panels in the bathrooms of Agrishow provide clean, 100% renewable energy for the operation of these structures. Additionally, we will also have solar-powered cellphone charging kiosks available to our visitors.

  • Wood Residues: More than 200 tons of wood waste from the stands and structures of the event are destined for energy generation, landscaping, and other initiatives, avoiding disposal in the environment.

  • Energy Patrol: We have a team that works throughout the night, after each day of the event, inspecting all structures and instructing our exhibitors to turn off items such as lights, air conditioning, and other devices that may be consuming unnecessary energy during periods of inactivity at the fair.

  • Distribution of Seedlings: Seedlings of native species were distributed at the Macboot booth.

  • Interactive Map: An interactive map available on the Agrishow app, replacing the printed pocket map.

3- SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:

Contributing at least 1% of pre-tax profit to community groups, advocating for diversity and inclusion, and creating value for our host cities by:

  • Hiring People Over 50 and 60.

  • GRAAL Space: A dedicated area at the fair that serves as a rest and reception point for caravan drivers.

  • Boosting the local economy by opening up food spaces for small entrepreneurs in the Ribeirão Preto region.

  • Meal donations in partnership with Matchfood and support for GACC - the Children with Cancer Support Group.

  • Support for the Ribeirão Preto Blood Center, one of the most important hemotherapy and hematology centers in the country, responsible for collecting, processing and distributing blood to more than 249 municipalities in São Paulo, in addition to treating patients with hematological or related pathologies.

Agrishow Pra Elas

An award-winning Agrishow project that has been in existence since 2021. Agrishow Pra Elas is an exclusive space for engaging conversations and experience exchanges among incredible women working in agribusiness. It aims to value and stimulate female participation in the sector. In 2024, we had a hands-on area dedicated to technical speeches by women for women, providing a networking space for women from all over Brazil.
We support women's strength in the field through the Women in Agribusiness project. This year, we will also be a collection point for scarves to be donated to women undergoing cancer treatment. Join us in this chain of solidarity!

Agrishow Labs

A dedicated area within the Technology and Innovation Arena that connects various agribusiness startups and their solutions directly with the visiting public, creating the perfect space for business and networking.

Content Throughout the Year

On the Agrishow Digital channel, over 20 materials on sustainability were published last year. On the Agrishow Experience platform, you can watch various ESG content and more materials captured at previous editions of the fair or at the digital events.
By exploring environmental, social, and corporate governance sustainability themes, we drive the entire agribusiness sector toward more sustainable practices. This approach reflects a commitment not only to the present but also to the legacy for future generations.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle can make a huge difference to your well-being and physical and mental performance, whether in the office, at home, or at an event.

Check out our tips for making the most of Agrishow:

  • The Agrishow exhibition park is extensive, and the region's climate is usually hot. We recommend using sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and comfortable clothing and shoes.
  • Stay hydrated throughout the event with regular water breaks at hydration points located in front of all bathrooms and the central plaza.
  • To help you enjoy your visit even more, we have many areas with benches where you can rest.
  • In addition to the various options in the food court, Agrishow also has several food truck plazas in different areas of the fair. There are over 30 food options for you to choose from.

We want everyone to feel they belong and that our communities are inspired and benefit from the diverse identities, innovations, and ideas we present at Agrishow.

We achieve this by:

  • Hiring people aged 50 and 60+.
  • Committing to listening to a wide variety of audiences at the Agrishow Labs and Agrishow Pra Elas attractions.
  • Providing half-price tickets for students, people with disabilities, and seniors.

HELP IMPROVE AGRISHOW'S SUSTAINABILITY

As a Visitor:

  • Consider how you will travel to the event and try to avoid air travel or use low-carbon transportation such as public transport, free shuttles, or carpooling.
  • Recycle your waste at the venue and in your hotel whenever possible.
  • Consider opting for vegetarian and vegan food options and avoid food waste.
  • Take only the giveaways or brochures you need and will use, and consider if there are digital alternatives.

Help Improve Agrishow's Sustainability
As an Exhibitor

As an Exhibitor:

  • Ensure your booth can be reused by your company or by your hired booth builder.
  • Think about the waste your booth will generate and try to minimize it as much as possible. Ensure that unavoidable waste is recycled.
  • Select LED lighting and other energy-efficient equipment for your booth and make sure to turn off your equipment at the end of the day.
  • Optimize your travel by consolidating your shipments and choosing logistics companies with strong sustainability credentials.
  • Reduce paper distributions by going digital and use sustainably certified paper where printing is necessary.
  • Engage in the many initiatives and conversations throughout the event that aim to facilitate and inspire the sustainable development of your sector.
  • Inspire the sustainable development of your sector by promoting your company and the sustainability credentials of your products and services.
